Solar (EVA)
Luperox® TBEC-H, TCS, TBEC and other Luperox® organic peroxides are used for crosslinking EVA/POE encapsulation films. Photovoltaic (PV) panels are made by laminating components (glasses, cells, back sheets, etc.) with encapsulation films. These films are also used to manufacture safety glasses.
Wind energy
Luperox® MEKP organic peroxide blends are used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) used to manufacture windmill blades. Luperox® benzoyl peroxide formulations are also used to cure Elium® - Arkema's specialty liquid thermoplastic resin for composites used in the manufacturing of strong and durable windmill blades.
Cosmetics, Health and beauty
Luperox® A75FP organic peroxide is an exfoliating agent used in highly effective acne creams and gels. In addition to increasing turnover of skin cells, formulations based on Luperox® A75FP work to destroy acne-causing bacteria.
