Luperox® 11M45 polymer initiator is a lower active concentration formulation of tert-butyl peroxypivalate. The higher proportion of odorless mineral spirits allows a self-accelerating decomposition temperature higher than that of Luperox® 11M75 polymer initiator. Both initiators are suitable for polymerization of LDPE in the temperature range 160°C to 200°C, especially in tubular processes where temperature deviations can occur
