Luperox® 221 polymer initiator is a technically pure material typically used for polymerizations of very high purity thermoplastics. High purity is achieved by managing the decomposition products of Luperox® 221 which include mainly propanol. Other initiators of similar reactivity can decompose into 2-ethylhexanol or sec-butanol which are more difficult to volatize
