Luperox® 531M80 polymer initiator is a peroxyketal initiator for the polymerization of acrylic monomers to form coatings resins or PMMA. As a t-amyl peroxyketal, Luperox® 531M80 polymer initiator yields a less energetic and more selective radical upon decomposition than the t-butyl analog. This radical can help form linear polymers with less chain branching and lower residual monomer content
