LUPEROX^® LP

Luperox®LP dilauroyl peroxide is the one of two very fast half-life ambient control temperature solid peroxides sold by Arkema worldwide (the other being Luperox®A75 benzoyl peroxide powder). Dilauroyl peroxides are useful in PVC production either for suspension or microsuspension processes. It may be applied in the temperature range 55°C – 75°C, especially to manufacture low-KWert PVC resin. Typical concentration level range is between 0.2% and 0.8%. In favour of a flattened heat profile, a higher process efficiency and resin performance Luperox® LP may be used in combination with peroxides of higher activity (e. g. Luperox® 10EN50 or Luperox® 223EN60). Another feasible application for Luperox® LP  is the suspension polymerisation of acrylates, vinylidene chloride,… While transportation of Luperox®LP dilauroyl peroxide is permitted at ambient temperatures, storage below 27°C is recommended to maintain quality.
