LUPEROX® 11M40
Luperox® 11M40 polymer initiator is a lower active concentration formulation of tert-butyl peroxypivalate. The higher proportion of diluant allows a self-accelerating decomposition temperature higher than that of Luperox® 11M75 polymer initiator. Both initiators are suitable for polymerization of LDPE in the temperature range 160°C to 200°C, especially in tubular processes where temperature deviations can occur.
LUPEROX® 11M45
Luperox® 11M45 polymer initiator is a lower active concentration formulation of tert-butyl peroxypivalate. The higher proportion of odorless mineral spirits allows a self-accelerating decomposition temperature higher than that of Luperox® 11M75 polymer initiator. Luperox® 11M75 polymer initiator is a 75% active weight formulation of t-butyl peroxypivlate. In polymerization processes for polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, or acrylics and methacrylics, Luperox® 11M75 polymer initiator functions throughout a wide range of temperatures. In LDPE tubular or autoclave production processes especially, the decomposition profile of Luperox® 11M75 initiator will produce mostly acetone, t-butanol, and isobutylene which are easy to eliminate during monomer recovery
LUPEROX® 11M75 HP
Luperox® 11M75 HP may be used in the free radical polymerization of ethylene and copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate or other co-monomers such as some (meth)acrylates, in high pressure tubular or autoclave reactors. Luperox® 11M75 HP can also be used in the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride. According to its activity window it is optimally working in the temperature range 50°C to 70°C.
LUPEROX® 11M75 LOW WATER
Luperox ® 11M75 (Low water) is specially designed for the free radical polymerization of ethylene and copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate or some (meth)acrylate comonomers in high pressure tubular or autoclave reactors.Another application of Luperox ® 11M75 (Low water) in the temperature range 50°C to 80°C is the free radical polymerization of (meth)acrylates and their derivatives in bulk, or solution.
LUPEROX® 188M75
Luperox® 188M75 polymer initiator is typically used for polymerizations of vinyl chloride in emulsion processes. The high reactivity of Luperox® 188M75 can improve reactor efficiency by converting more monomer per unit time. Use of other initiators in combination with Luperox® 188M75 is recommended to achieve a uniform thermal profile in vinyl chloride polymerizations

Luperox® 231EB88 polymer initiator is a cyclic peroxyketal initiator for the polymerization of styrenics. Luperox® 231EB88 converts styrene monomer into high molecular weight polymers faster than using a thermal process alone. This productivity increase is seen in the conversion rate of styrene into polystyrene when Luperox® 231EB88 is added during polymerization from 100°C to 130°C. For high-impact polystyrene synthesis, the di-radical generated by Luperox® 231EB88 can also improve the polystyrene to rubber grafting ratio, resulting in higher impact performance products.
LUPEROX® 231EB90
Luperox® 231EB90 polymer initiator is a 90% 1,1-Di(t-butyl peroxy)3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane in Ethylbenzene. In polymerization processes for styrene and acrylonitrile, or acrylics and methacrylics, Luperox® 231EB90 polymer initiator functions in the temperature range of 90~120℃. Using Luperox® 554M75 will help reduce the formation of fish-eye voids in PVC resins as polymerization kinetics are better controlled. For acrylic polymerization, the recommended process temperature is 50° to 80°C. t-Amyl peroxyesters are very efficient and generate lower energy radicals that can narrow polydispersity in acrylic resins and yield lower overall solution viscosity

LUPEROX® 610EN50
Luperox® 610EN50 is a highly active initiator in the suspension polymerisation of vinyl chloride. According to its activity window it can be used between 40 – 60°C. Due to its short half-life, Luperox® 610EN50 improves the kinetics of the polymerization.
LUPEROX® 610M50
Luperox® 610M50 polymer initiator is useful in polymerization of vinyl chloride by improving conversion rates to boost productivity but also for the free radical polymerization of ethylene and copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate in high pressure tubular or autoclave reactors. In the case of EVA copolymerization, the incorporation of vinyl acetate into the copolymer is facilitated, permitting products with a higher co-monomer content.
LUPEROX® 7M50
Luperox® 7M50 polymer initiator can be used for polymerization of ethylene in tubular or autoclave reactors, or in emulsion polymerization of acrylics. For production of polystyrenes, Luperox® 7M50 is also useful to increase graft efficiency and molecular weight distribution.

LUPEROX® CU80
Luperox® CU80 is an appropriate initiator for polymerization processes in mass, solution, suspension as well as emulsion. For example, it can be used in the (co)polymerization of styrene, vinyl chloride, isoprene, (meth) acrylic esters and acrylonitrile. Luperox® CU80 may also be applied in the curing of unsatured polyesters and an intermediate for the synthesis of acetone, phenol, cyclohexane, methyl methacrylate and caprolactam.
LUPEROX® D-16
Luperox® D-16 crosslinking peroxide is a low odor and highly efficient crosslinking or vulcanizing agent for elastomers and plastics. Luperox® D-16 has a slightly higher half-life than Vul-Cup® R crosslinking peroxide, but is a liquid at room temperature rather than a solid.

LUPEROX® DI-S

Common applications include polymerization of ethylene or acrylics polymers at high temperatures. Luperox®DI-S has also been shown to act as a cetane enhancer in diesel fuels.
LUPEROX® DIM75
Luperox® DIM75 can be used in the free radical (co)polymerization of ethylene in high pressure tubular or autoclave reactors. Itis a suitable source of radicals for the degradation of polypropylene at temperatures between 190°C and 250°C.

LUPEROX® K12G
Luperox® K12G is a Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide phthalate free. In ortho- and isophthalic resins, Luperox® K12G gives long gel time and is therefore particularly recommended for the manufacture of very large molded pieces when the room temperature is elevated. Thanks to its specific composition and its low content in hydrogen peroxide, Luperox® K12G is well adapted to the cure of a wide variety of vinyl ester resins with no foaming affect.
LUPEROX® K1G
Luperox® K1G is recommended for the curing of ortho- and isophthalic, Bisphenol-A or neopentyl-glycol resins at temperatures between 15 and 50°C in presence of cobalt accelerator. Typical applications of Luperox® K1G are: gel coats, hand lay-up, spray-up, centrifugal casting, filament winding, polyester concrete.
LUPEROX® K1SN
Luperox® K1SN is Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide used for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperatures in combination with a cobalt accelerator. Luperox® K1SN is used for applications such as hand lay-up, spray up, centrifugal casting, filament winding, polyester concrete, etc. It is particularly suitable for gel coat curing. Its low viscosity makes it ideal for spray-up techniques (airless) with external mixing. Faster reaction with shorter demold times can be obtained by the addition of promoters such as dimethyl aniline.
LUPEROX® K2
Luperox® K2 is Methyl Isobutyl Ketone Peroxide used for the cold curing and medium temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins, with or without a cobalt accelerator. Because of its kick-off temperature of 60°C, Luperox® K2 may be used in continuous processes, such as flat or corrugated sheets, and also in other processes that run temperature between 60 and 120°C.
LUPEROX® K3
Luperox® K3 is an Acetyl Acetone Peroxide used for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperatures in combination with a cobalt accelerator. At either room or elevated temperatures (40°C - 80°C), the Luperox® K3 allows much faster curing than others ketone peroxides. Faster curing allows shorter cycle times and, as a consequence, higher productivity with any moulding technologies.
LUPEROX® L1
Luperox® L1 polymer initiator is a peroxyketal initiator for the polymerization of styrenics, acrylic monomers or curing of unsaturated polyester resins (UPR). As it is nearly as active as tert-butyl perbenzoate and does not from benzene on decomposition Luperox® L1 A may be taken as a suitable replacement for this aromatic peroxide which with provide acrylic resins with better color and UPR compounds with longer shelf-life.
LUPEROX® LP
Luperox®LP dilauroyl peroxide is the one of two very fast half-life ambient control temperature solid peroxides sold by Arkema worldwide (the other being Luperox®A75 benzoyl peroxide powder). Dilauroyl peroxides are useful in PVC production either for suspension or microsuspension processes. While transportation of Luperox®LP dilauroyl peroxide is permitted at ambient temperatures, storage at 40°F is recommended to maintain quality.
LUPEROX® LPS40
Luperox® LPS40 is aqueous suspension of dilauroyl peroxide. It is used in free radical polymerization and copolymerization of vinyl chloride monomer in suspension and microsuspension for bottle-grade PVC and in suspension polymerization of acrylates. It has usage level 0.2-0.8 %.
LUPEROX® MBD(P)
Luperox® MBD initiator is a 50% Di-3-Methoxybutyl peroxydicarbonate in Toluene. It is used in water-based suspension polymerization for the production of polyvinyl chloride.

When used to make expandable polystyrene, Luperox® P polymer initiator is recommended as a 2nd step initiator. For open and closed mold composites, users value the long shelf life of catalyzed resins and high purity. The typical curing temperature for unsaturated polyester resins using 0.5 to 1.0 percent by weight is 280° to 320°F

Luperox® P (low Water) polymer initiator is a versatile organic peroxide for use in polymerization of styrene to form polystyrene resins, or for curing of unsaturated polyesters. LUPEROX® PNP 25
Luperox® PNP25 is an organic peroxide paste applicable in solid surface acrylics, polyester cure, cast acrylics, adhesives and seaming compounds. It is a room-temperature stable, non-phthalate paste that can be cured with strong bases or metal oxides.

Luperox® TAEC polymer initiator is designed for use in the polymerization of styrene to make expandable polystyrene, general purpose polystyrene, or high-impact polystyrene. Decomposition results in non-aromatic fragments. This feature makes Luperox® TAEC a good choice for use in food-contact polystyrenes
LUPEROX® TAH75
Luperox® TAH75 can be used alone or in combination with other organic peroxides in solvent and emulsion polymerizations of acrylics resins. It is soluble enough in water to be used in waterborn resins.
LUPEROX® TBEC
Luperox® TBEC polymer initiator is a room-temperature stable liquid peroxide for fast and efficient crosslinking of polymers and elastomers at low processing temperatures. Typical applications include crosslinking of EVA, EPM, EPDM, PLA, and VMQ. Effective crosslinking requires only 1.0 to 2.0 PHR based on the weight of polymer used.Luperox® TBEC can also be used for EPS production.
